Letter Box

This social design project, a collaboration with Hadassah Hospital and Bezalel, was created to help children in the pediatric surgery department process their hospital stay and surgical experience.

The project operates through a dedicated creative station, where a child creates a letter. The station includes activities such as answering guiding questions, drawing a stamp, and folding the page into an envelope. The letter, which holds the child's feelings and experiences, is then placed in a mailbox within the department.

These letters are then passed on to other children preparing for a procedure. The letter becomes a therapeutic tool, allowing the receiving child to empathize with the experience, feel a sense of connection, and receive encouragement.
